Nendoroid Hatsune Miku Korin Kimono Ver. (Vocaloid)

From the Tokyo National Museum and the National Center for the Promotion of Cultural Properties' Kourin Kimono Restoration Project comes a collaboration Nendoroid of Hatsune Miku donning the beautiful Kourin Kimono!

Hatsune Miku has been recreated in her Nendoroid size based on the original illustration of her wearing the Kourin Kimono by illustrator/character designer En Morikura. She comes with three different face plates including a standard expression, a smiling expression and a smiling expression with closed eyes. A Japanese umbrella and Chinese bellflower to pair with her kimono are included as well.

About the Kōrin Kimono Restoration Project

The Korin Kimono is the only fully-intact garment featuring a pattern drawn by Ogata Korin. Now, after 300 years, the garment is in need of restoration. This project will be undertaken by the Tokyo National Museum and the National Center for the Promotion of Cultural Properties(CPCP) with support from donations. The restoration project will take place over a period of two years from 2020. It will begin with the disassembly of the outer fabric, followed by the removal of the previous restoration, reinforcement and repair work, and the application of a new lining. It will then be returned to the Tokyo National Museum.

A portion of the sales of this product will be donated by Good Smile Company to the Kourin Kimono Restoration Project.
