Comparing the Blade One Nipper and Ultimate Nipper
The more expensive GodHand Ultimate Nipper creates superior cuts with absolute minimal stress marks when used properly. However, the Blade One has a thicker, more durable blade while still producing great quality cuts. The Blade One Nipper is also capable of cutting transparent plastics of up to 2mm diameter versus the Ultimate Nipper's 1mm.
Important Note
This is a precision nipper with a delicate blade. If used improperly, the blade may chip or break. Please follow the guideline below when using this nipper.
- Use only for cutting plastics with a maximum diameter of 3mm (or 2mm for transparent/semi-transparent plastics)
- Never cut pieces that exceed the cutting capacity above or non-plastic materials (metal, resin, paper, etc ...)
- Note the limit above refers to the diameter, not just thickness
- Do not squeeze with more force than necessary as it can cut even with nominal force
- The blade gets thinner and more delicate towards the tip, so cut as close to the centre of the blade as possible
- Do not twist the blade during cutting or when removing the blade from the runner after cutting. Doing so causes a rotating force to apply to the blade and can cause it to break
- Remove any nubs stuck on the blade using a soft brush before the next cut as they may cause extra stress to the blade
- Do not touch the cutting edge of the nipper directly by hand as oil from your finger causes rust
- Store in a dry location as moisture can cause rust, degrading the performance of the blade
