About Kimitoshi Yamane/山根公利

Born in 1966 and originally from Kawamoto Town, Shimane Prefecture, the talented mecha designer embarked on his creative journey. After completing studies at a specialized school in Tokyo, he made a striking debut as a mecha designer by presenting his work to the animation planning and production company, Artmic. His association with Sunrise productions began with the renowned "Mobile Fighter G Gundam".

Subsequently, his artistic touch graced a multitude of works, including but not limited to "The Vision of Escaflowne", "Cowboy Bebop", "Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team", "Infinite Ryvius", "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin", "G-Reco", "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash", and "Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan's Island". His extensive contribution to the realm of mecha design has left an indelible mark on the history of animation.
